Big Bend Park Big Bend is located on the west side of Big Muskegon River near the Hardy Dam, with 17 miles of waterway for boating, fishing, swimming, waterskiing.  This is a great area for camping, hiking and a brilliant view of the fall colors. OXBOW PARK Oxbow Park is located on the east side of the Hardy Dam backwaters. There are 17 miles of waterway from Hardy Dam to Rogers Dam for recreational waterskiing, swimming, fishing or boating. This is a great area for camping, hiking and a brilliant view of the fall colors. They are located about 25 minutes from Newaygo, Big Rapids and Fremont, and about 45 minutes north of Grand Rapids.
