Cast a line for a memorable day reeling adven-ture on the diverse waterways of our region. Although our rivers and lakes are ripe for fishing throughout the year, our summer season attracts fishing for trout, smallmouth, and king salmon in the rivers.

The Muskegon River offers several public access points to start your journey. Pack your gear and grab some bait at Parsley’s Sport Shop in Downtown Newaygo.  The White River, designated as a natural river by the DNR, flows through White Cloud and Hesperia, a true hidden treasure in Newaygo County.  The cool water brings anglers for salmon, trout, and steelhead.
