Muskegon River Bluffs + Riverstop Cafe 

Maybe disc golfing is your preferred style. If so, Muskegon River Bluffs is Newaygo County’s newest disc golf course located at the Ed H. Henning County Park. The course is so new that some holes are still under development, but already boasts 7 holes ready to play, each with 2 baskets and tee pads creating 4 ways to play 28 hole combinations. The course is anticipated to be complete this year.

Following your round of disc golf, head to the River Stop Café just a short drive to downtown Newaygo. The River Stop is a café by day and a social house by night. So, no matter what time of the day you complete your round they will have beverages and great eats waiting. Stop by for a warm breakfast sandwich in the morning, a wrap filled with fresh ingredients for lunch, or at the end of the day check out their inventive dinner menu featuring scrumptious flatbreads and other shareables. If you happen to be downtown on Thursdays, be sure to stick around for live music.

Newaygo’s Outback Social District

Downtown Newaygo invites you to grab a drink at one of the participating restaurants and stroll the streets. The Outback Social District, located behind downtown retailers on the east side of M37, was created for locals and visitors to enjoy an evening outdoors with a beer, wine, or cocktail. The Outback features cornhole boards, firepits, and group seating areas, making it the perfect spot to gather with friends on a warm summer day to plan another great adventure in NewayGo County!
