Grant Fine Arts Center

Located on the Grant Public Schools campus, the Grant Fine Arts Center is one of Newaygo County’s premier performing arts venues. The 792-seat theater hosts student and community productions, concerts, theatrical performances, meetings, educational programs and other special events.

With professional audio, lighting and video capabilities, the Fine Arts Center reflects the community’s longstanding commitment to arts, education and cultural opportunities.

The Grant Community Center serves as one of the community’s primary gathering places. Following a major renovation, the facility hosts community programs, public events, meetings, celebrations and private rentals throughout the year. Located just off M-37 near downtown, the Community Center continues a tradition of community use extending back more than a century while offering an updated space for today’s residents and visitors.

Water Tower Park

Located along M-37 in the heart of downtown Grant, Water Tower Park is home to one of the community’s most recognizable landmarks: Grant’s historic wooden railroad water tower.

Built in 1891 to serve the railroad that helped shape the early growth of the community, the tower is an important reminder of Grant’s transportation and agricultural history. The park also features an original Chessie System caboose, a Michigan historical marker, landscaping, picnic tables and benches, making it an easy stop while exploring the area.

The Jungle Disc Golf Course

Disc golf enthusiasts can test their skills at The Jungle, Grant’s 18-hole disc golf course. The course features a mix of wooded, technical fairways and more open holes, providing a variety of challenges for both recreational and experienced players. Established in 2021, The Jungle has continued to develop into a unique outdoor recreation destination within the community. With concrete and other improved tee areas, established baskets, and a course layout that winds through both wooded and open areas, it offers another great way to get outside and enjoy Grant. Whether you’re a local player or visiting Newaygo County with discs in hand, The Jungle provides a convenient opportunity to add a round of disc golf to your time in Grant.

Blanche Lake

Blanche Lake Park

Blanche Lake Park offers an unexpected outdoor retreat within the City of Grant. Located near the Grant Public Schools campus, the park provides opportunities for fishing, seasonal boating and swimming, picnicking and walking. The park also includes trails, an amphitheater, a ball field, picnic areas and other recreational amenities, making it a popular destination for families and anyone looking to spend some time outdoors without leaving the community.
