OXBOW PARK

Oxbow Park is located on the east side of the Hardy Dam backwaters. There are 17 miles of waterway from Hardy Dam to Rogers Dam for recreational waterskiing, swimming, fishing or boating. This is a great area for camping, hiking and a brilliant view of the fall colors.

They are located about 25 minutes from Newaygo, Big Rapids and Fremont, and about 45 minutes north of Grand Rapids. We have 197 campsites (all with water and electric hook-up except our 7 primitive sites), two cabins, docks, a dumping station (for waste water), two playgrounds, three service buildings (toilets & showers), three vault toilets, a swim beach with a picnic area, a pavilion which is available to rent, grills, horse shoe pits, volleyball court, two 1/2 basketball court, very nice flat boat launch and more.

A great place to stay whether it’s for the day, weekend or for the season.  Open year round.
