Our mission: To promote the arts and enhance the cultural climate in Newaygo County and surrounding areas.

The programs and services of NCCA-Arts-Place are the true heart of the organization. We provide programs designed to be packed full of intense high quality, multidimensional experiences for everyone!

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and provide excellent exhibit, sales, and educational space for Newaygo County residents and our visitors. Our Programs foster creative growth and provide cultural opportunities unique to many rural areas. “Surround yourself with art,” and be a part of NCCA-Arts-Place!

Gallery Features

In Fremont, the Arts-Place specializes in the fine arts. With an exhibition gallery, local artist market, classes and workshops, the renovated century-old building buzzes with activities. Summer activities:

  • Exhibit – Deborah Bowen – Mixed-media Paintings – On display May 1 through June 1.  Exhibit Reception – May 9 – 5:30 – 7:00 pm
  • NCCA-Arts-Place Statewide Photography Competition and Exhibit.  Entry deadline May 23.  Juried Exhibit on display June 5 – July 13.  Competition details at
