There is something magical about Christmas light displays that bring out the child in all of us. Memories of car rides to see the neighborhood lights, with noses pressed to the window, are rekindled. These memories can be relived, and new ones created, in Newaygo County this holiday season!
The Colors of Christmas started in 2016 with a vision and passion to share the holiday spirit with all. Located in beautiful Croton Township Campground, The Colors of Christmas has grown over the last 5 years into a wonderland of lights and light displays! Walk or drive through the campground and enjoy the lights and displays – even stop and take some pictures with family and friends!
Admission to this event is FREE! A $5 donation is suggested to help maintain and grow the displays; however, The Colors of Christmas wants everyone to be able to enjoy and make wonderful memories. The Colors of Christmas is open every night from 6:00pm to 11:00pm starting the day after Thanksgiving through January 1.
NEW THIS YEAR – a portion of all donations will be donated to Newaygo County Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. All remaining donations go to help maintain and grow the lights and displays. The Colors of Christmas is non-profit made possible by donations and sponsorships from local businesses.
We’d like to thank our current sponsors: Gene’s Family Market, Consumers Energy, Anderson’s Silk Screening, Croton Township Campground, Schultz Septic & Excavating, Cronk’s ACE Hardware, and Postma Monument and the volunteers that help to set up!
Grab a hot chocolate, head to Croton Township Campground, and bask in The Color of Christmas this holiday season!
