Community Highlights
White River
The White River is also a popular spot for fly fishing for salmon, steelhead and trout. Spring steelhead and fall salmon bring anglers to the water below the Hesperia Dam because it is a rather small and wading friendly river system.
North Country Trail
Scenic Trail The North Country Trail can be accessed from the White Cloud Campground by a connector trail. The NCT links scenic, natural, historic, and cultural areas across America’s northern heartlands. Newaygo County is lucky to have almost 70 miles of established trail by utilizing the Huron-Manistee National Forest.

Rotary Park
This 3.5 acre park is equipped with a picnic pavilion, picnic tables, playground and paved walking paths along the river, serves as a popular gathering place for family reunions, weddings and other get-togethers. The park includes a kayak launch and fishing areas.
